In the Twin City, Toronto Blue Jay Frank Thomas hit his 500th home run, making him the 21st hitter to join the exclusive club. The hit came in Thomas' premier hitting city, Minnesota, where he has the most ballpark blasts. Thomas had hit his 499th home run back in Toronto against the the Colorado Rockies, but has a drought of hits, going 0-9 at bats at one time. Thomas now joins the elite company of Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, and Sammy Sosa, as he now quests for even more success.
