Former NY Giant Arrington injured in bike crash
Former Giants linebacker LaVar Arrington was checked into a hospital in Maryland due to serious injuries that he sustained when his motorcycle swerved and collided with a guardrail on a Maryland highway. State police officials investigated and divulged that a helmet was being used and he was not under the influence of alcoholic substances. Arrington sustained unnamed injuries, but it is reported that broken bones were suffered regarding the high speed collision. Arrington's injuries are not in any way fatal, but he will need medical care for some time. Arrington played for the New York Giants under head coach Tom Coughlin, but was released following their playoff elimination as the organization opened up free agency. He is currently an unsigned, unrestricted NFL free agent.
