MLB Game of the Day: Tigers vs. Mariners

Although there weren't many interesting games yesterday because of the return from the all-star break, the on ethat stood out to me was a duel out in the northwest, with the Seattle Mariners taking on the Tigers from Detroit. The Tigers would score first, and then again in the third inning to make the score 2-0 in favor of the Tigers. But then in the bottom of the fifth inning, a sloppy outfielding play with overthrown balls resulted in an ejection and also three Mariners runs. Good outfielding from then on for both teams would seal the deal and the Mariners would take home a win and snap the Tigers win streak with a score of 3-2.
